UMCOR Responds to Recent Hurricanes

We pray for all of those affected by the ferocity of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. United Methodists are encouraged to give financial support through the United Methodist Committee on Relief. 100% of your contribution is spent on disaster relief.

  • Sat. Dec. 2nd 9am- 12pm Secret Shop Ages 3- 5th grade shop for Christmas gifts for their family.  Most gifts are under $5 and will be wrapped!
  • Christmas Cantata - Sun. Dec 17th at 8:30 and 10 am worship services.  Chancel Choir, accompanied by orchestra, will present "Little Lion, Little Lamb" by Heather Sorenson

Youth Group

Welcome to our Youth Group

We are so glad you found us here. If you are in grades 6-12, we hope that you will get involved and join us by attending our meetings and events.

We have a dynamic Youth Group at Covenant!  Our youth group is composed of middle school and high school students who are committed to serving the community, supporting each other and worshiping God. Throughout the year, the youth are involved in service and leadership projects and fun fellowship opportunities. For over 20 years, our youth have been actively involved in serving the needy through youth missions.

Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings at 4:15 pm at Covenant United Methodist Church in the Youth Room. Dinner is provided by a parent volunteer after the meeting at 5:30 pm. We use this time as together as fellowship and learning what it means to be a Christian.

Stay updated with youth group events and activities by checking out the youth bulletin board, Facebook, emails and Sunday morning announcements. Please let Dave Post know if you need to be added to our email distribution.


Welcome back and a warm welcome to new members, including our new 6th graders . We have many activities already planned for the fall. Here are some – check back often. Dave would also like to get a preliminary count on ROCK – the United Methodist Youth Convention in Ocean City. Registration begins in October and we will be having several fundraisers to offset the cost. Please let Dave know by September 10 if you think you can attend.


  • Youth Kick-Off Party: Potluck Party for Youth,Youth Parents and Youth Team Leaders: August 26th from 4 PM at the Post Residence. Bring your swimsuits! The pool is nice and warm.


  • September 9: Service Day at the Germantown Volunteer Fire Station: A "thank you" for teaching us CPR this winter. We will be doing some landscaping to spruce up their entrances.
  • September 10- Church Picnic: We will be running the games for the kids.
  • September 15-17: Fall Retreat at Camp High Road
  • September 24: Service Day at Asbury and Dinner


  • October 17: Children's Treasure Sale Concessions Fundraiser
  • October 22: Variety Show
  • October 28: We will set up a Trick or Treat Trail for our younger costumed friends, and enjoy the Pasta Pandemonium!
  • October 29: Youth Sunday – We will support worship by providing a lector, ushers, acolytes and choir for the Sunday morning service.


  • November 4- Gleaning at First Fruits (New)
  • November 19: Asbury Service Day
  • November 26: Hanging of the Greens


  • December: Secret Shop
  • December 17: Progressive Dinner


  • January 26-28: ROCK (United Methodist Youth Convention) in Ocean City
